Dr Rachel Cooper


Dr Rachel Cooper is based at the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing and is the post-doctoral fellow employed to work on WP1 of the HALCyon programme.  She has a BA in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD in Epidemiology from University College London (awarded November 2006). Rachel is interested in all aspects of life course epidemiology and is now pursuing her interest in applying this approach to the study of ageing, in particular capability.  In addition to her work on WP1 Rachel is also a member of the HALCyon data management team.
