Professor Ian Day

Professor Ian Day is a human geneticist with wide ranging interests in human genetics and genetic epidemiology as relevant to medical applications and leads WP7 on the genetics of ageing. He is Deputy Director of the MRC CAiTE Centre in the Department of Social Medicine at the University of Bristol and leads a range of research spanning through cohort, family, laboratory, statistical and bioinformatic aspects of genetic epidemiology. His publications and previous funding have included numerous studies relevant to diseases and traits of ageing.
