Diana Kuh

Professor Diana Kuh is the Principal Investigator for the HALCyon programme, responsible for programme management and contributing to WP1 on life course models of capability and WP3 on life history and healthy ageing. Diana is the director of the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing and the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). Diana has worked on NSHD for over twenty years using a life course approach to study the independent, cumulative and interactive effects of biological, social and psychological risk factors from early life that influence the maintenance or decline of physical and cognitive capability and associated body systems, the development of chronic disease, the probability of survival, and the quality of life.
